What's New With The Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class begins an all-new generation for the long-running Mercedes-Benz E-Class line. It has been redesigned from the ground up to provide more luxury and technology for drivers and passengers alike to enjoy. In addition, both four and six-cylinder powertrain options will now feature hybrid technology, resulting in more horsepower to delivered to the road. Further, the exterior features sharp new styling, and the inside is filled with new, intuitive technology and premium interior options.

Performance

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class features a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid engine that delivers a combined output of 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. You add power and torque to your drive through an electric boost, delivering 20 more horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque.

For Lubbock drivers looking for greater performance, the Mercedes E-450 features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Like the 2.0-liter powertrain, the six-cylinder option features an electric boost delivering an extra 20 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. The power is delivered to the road through a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.

To optimize stability and control on your journey around the heart of Texas, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class features an AIRMATIC air suspension system with adjustable dampening and rear-axle steering up to 4.5 degrees. The upshot is that you have a dynamic handling package to give you more confidence no matter the weather conditions.
