Access to Over 12,000 Tesla Superchargers
Through this new collaboration, Mercedes-Benz EV owners will be able to charge at over 12,000 Tesla Supercharger stations throughout North America. Superchargers allow for fast charging, making long-distance electric travel much more feasible and convenient. Drivers passing through Clovis on a road trip in their Mercedes EQS, for example, will be able to quickly recharge and get back on the road.
Seamless Integration With Mercedes me Connect
Using the Mercedes ME Connect app, Mercedes-Benz EV drivers will be able to easily locate and access Tesla Superchargers. The app will guide you to the nearest available Supercharger, allow you to check charger availability, and even initiate and pay for charging, all from your smartphone. So whether you're driving around town in Lubbock or taking a weekend getaway, charging your Mercedes-Benz EV will be simple and hassle-free.
Availability
Access to Tesla Superchargers will initially roll out to Mercedes-Benz EQS, EQE, EQS SUV, and EQE SUV models in 2023 across the United States and Canada. In the future, Mercedes-Benz plans to extend this support to other EV models as well, giving more drivers the freedom to conveniently charge at Tesla Supercharger stations.
